Pamela, I was going through the recent comments to my blog site and I thought for certain that I had answered your question about the plantation on the front page – if I remember wrong, it’s the St. Joseph Plantation in Vacherie – right next door or downriver from Oak Alley Plantation.
Where is this plantation? I would love to visit.
I am astounded at the relationship I feel with Dr Stephen’s love, devotion and passion for the largest living ….. on earth. Nothing surpasses a tree for that position, nothing surpasses our Live Oaks in its magesty. Thanks, Bill, for your research in bringing back Dr. Stephen’s devotion and love for The Tree that drapes our roadways and Bayous. Sarah Schoeffler
